 OMP, was founded in 1990 as a turning department specialized in precision engineering. In the area of Reggio Emilia it became very soon a strong partner of leading companies in the hydraulic sector.
Experience and professionalism of the founder members Eves Pianzi and Alberto Pirondini led to a constant growth of OMP which implied the expansion of the operational headquarter from 700 to 1100 square meters.
In 2000 OMP moved into the current headquarter of 5500 square meters in the city of San Martino in Rio by expanding the machines range with turnings up to 5 axes, mobile headstocks, (horizontal/vertical) milling centres, drilling centres, inside and outside grindings, slotting, broaching, polishing, sandblasting, assembling and testing of mechanical and hydraulic components.
Continuous research invested in quality and innovation related to products and processing was rewarded in 2004 by the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certificate (Vision 2000, DNV institution).
In 2005 a second operational division called OMP Sistem srl was founded in the province of Vicenza, specialized in turning machining and milling.
2008-2010: OMP is able to offer to its clients the complete management of the production process both for machining and heat-galvanic treatments equipped with a high technology fleet at its disposal and guaranteeing final testing.
Precision and reliability are two key points which together with the strong entrepreneurial spirit of the Pianzi Family (sole member since 2008) led to an excellent service and product quality turning OMP into the leader in production of mechanic components on behalf of third parties in the hydraulic, pneumatic, industrial and agricultural and recently also ceramic sector. 2010 challenge the future together: Reduce the supplier base by concentrating on working more structured companies to reduce costs, improve efficiency by ensuring high quality standards of product and process in line with market demands.
